What’s the Big Idea?
Recommendations for Improving

Law and Policy in the Next Administration

ACS has released “What’s the Big Idea? Recommendations for Improving Law and Policy in the Next Administration,” a collection of essays by nationally recognized experts with proposals for how the law and policy in key areas might be improved over the course of the next president’s term. From voting rights to immigration reform, to improving policing and more, our authors address the most pressing legal and social questions and offer their top three recommendations for how to, in the words of ACS’s mission, ensure that the law is “a force to improve the lives of all people.”

We could not be more pleased that Senator Elizabeth Warren has authored the introduction for the collection, which begins with this simple, true statement: “Ideas matter.” And as Senator Warren points out, for good ideas to flourish and withstand opposition, we need “a fully-functioning judiciary that dispenses equal justice under law.” Perhaps that is the biggest idea of all.
