The U.S. Sentencing Commission released a set of Quick Facts on drug trafficking crimes. The set includes Quick Facts on the six drug types that account for nearly all federal drug trafficking offenses: methamphetamine, powder cocaine, marijuana, heroin, crack cocaine, and oxycodone.
For the first time since the Commission began reporting sentencing data, methamphetamine offenses were the most common drug cases in fiscal year 2015.
