The Center for American Progress is partnering with The New Press and the FICPFM (the Formerly Incarceration and Convicted People and Families Movement) on a book of essays written by currently and formerly incarcerated people. This policy book, “What We Know,” is based on the authors’ lived experiences and expertise will be edited by Vivian Nixon and Daryl Atkinson.
