Join a network of Fellows that founded great groups like Wide Angle Youth Media, Community Law in Action, Thread, Book Thing of Baltimore, Community Conferencing, the Right to Housing Alliance, and Bikemore.

Applications are now available for OSI-Baltimore’s Community Fellowships Program, established in 1998 to assist individuals wishing to apply their education, life experiences, and professional experiences to serve marginalized communities.

Now a corps of more than 180 individuals, Baltimore Community Fellows have established some of the most respected and successful initiatives in Baltimore. Read about our 2016 class of Fellows here.

Applicants may come from all walks of life, including-but not limited to-business management, the arts, law, public health, education, architecture, and engineering. Individuals from underserved communities and people of color are strongly encouraged to apply. Fellowship awards are in the amount of $60,000 for a term of 18 months. Each year, up to 10 individuals are awarded a Baltimore Community Fellowship to implement innovative projects that seek to improve the circumstances and capacity of an underserved community in Baltimore City.

Individuals interested in applying for a Community Fellowship must submit two copies of the application. Deadline: Monday, March 6, 2017 at 5:00pm.
