The House of Representatives just approved the Veterans Equal Access Amendment allowing Veterans Affairs doctors to recommend medical marijuana to their patients in states where it’s legal!

This effort was lost by three votes last year, but the continued pressure from drug policy reform advocates like you made the difference. Today it won 233 to 189.

This amendment won’t become law until it’s included in the final spending bill at the end of the year, but once it is, Veterans Affairs doctors will be able to finally recommend marijuana to their patients in states where it’s legal.
