The Philadelphia Inquirer reports “Eight people serving life sentences were recommended for clemency Friday by Pennsylvania’s Board of Pardons, which held sessions via Zoom video conference (and in the face of repeated technological failures) for the first time in the board’s 148-year history due to the coronavirus pandemic.”
