Jeff Sessions names former general Mark Inch to lead Federal Bureau of Prisons

“Attorney General Jeff Sessions Tuesday nominated General Mark S. Inch to be the next director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

“Inch most recently served as the provost marshal general and commanding general of the Criminal Investigation Command and Army Corrections Headquarters for the Department of Army. According to the Justice Department, in that role, Inch was the ‘principal military advisor’ to the secretary of the Army and the chief of staff of the Army on ‘all policing matters.'”
