On November 13, 2015, Bureau of Prisons Director Samuels hosted a Justice Roundtable Meeting with external stakeholders at Central Office. Several members of the Bureau Executive Staff participated in the meeting along with representatives from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU); National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Legal Defense Fund (NAACP LDF); Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights; National Association of Social Workers; Open Society Foundation; National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Task Force; National Church of Scientology; National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; and other external stakeholders.
