The US Human Rights Network (USHRN) is hosting its Northeast Regional Meeting and Human Rights Tribunal on September 17, 2016 in Philadelphia. The tribunal is a forum where directly impacted people will have the opportunity to testify before a panel of members called “Jurists” on human rights issues that are prevalent and unique to the region.  The Jurists are comprised of an expert from the UN Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent, present and former Special Rapporteurs, and a Philadelphia City Council person.
