The National Network for Justice is proud to co-sponsor NACDL’s State Criminal Justice Network Annual Conference.
Registration is now open for the 18th Annual State Criminal Justice Network Conference: Sharing Strategies and Strengthening the Movement, being held August 1-2, 2019, at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel in Philadelphia, PA.
NACDL’s State Criminal Justice Network Conference brings together advocates working on a wide variety of state criminal justice issues from around the country. You will hear from many who are driving various reform efforts at the state level. Issues being discussed include pretrial reform, the trial penalty, policing and technology, juvenile justice, discovery reform, expungement and women in the criminal justice system.

There are scholarships available; applications will be considered on a rolling basis. To apply, please send a message toadvocacynetwork@nacdl.org with the following information:
- Name, full address, email and phone number
- Reason requesting scholarship
- Specific request – registration, hotel, airfare (please note that airfare must be pre-purchased by the individual and receipt submitted to NACDL for reimbursement after the conference. If the recipient is also awarded hotel accommodations, they must make their own hotel reservation and submit the hotel receipt for reimbursement after the conference)
NACDL is also accepting nominations for their 2019 Champion of State Criminal Justice Reform Award. The deadline to submit nominations is June 14, 2019. This award recognizes an individual or group whose exception efforts have led to positive changes to reform a state criminal justice system. The award criteria is linked above and attached.
