| The DC Commission on Human Rights is proud to present the 6th Annual Commission on Human Rights Awards on Wednesday, December 7 at the Kaiser Family Foundation’s Barbara Jordan Conference Center. During the annual celebration, the Commission will present the 2016 Cornelius R. “Neil” Alexander Humanitarian Award to James J. Sandman, Esq. for his service to residents of the District of Columbia. In addition to Mr. Sandman, local high school students selected as finalists in the Youth Human Rights Ambassador Contest will be honored for their projects related to civil and human rights in the District. |
