Please join the Council for Court Excellence for a forum exploring the implementation of recommendations from our recent report, Beyond Second Chances: Returning Citizens’ Re-entry Struggles and Successes in the District of Columbia.

Registration begins at 8:30 am, accompanied by a light breakfast, networking, and the opportunity to explore an interactive exhibit featuring portraits of returning citizens.

At 9:00 am, the three-part program will commence:

Part 1: A panel featuring people who have recently returned to DC from prison and jail, discussing their re-entry experience.

Part 2: An introduction of the Fair Chance Business Pledge, in partnership with the Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD).

Part 3: A panel of local and federal government decision makers, explaining their commitments to improving re-entry in DC.
