Awake and in Motion: Celebrating 50 Years of Martin Luther King

In his final Sunday sermon, preached at Washington National Cathedral 50 years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, preached on “Staying Awake Through a Great Revolution.” Through excerpts from Dr. King’s sermon, echoed in song, prayer, movement and dance, we urge our community today to stay awake and in motion in service of the Dream. Sponsored by Advancement Project (DC), Howard University, The Episcopal Church and Washington National Cathedral.

Doors open at 3:30pm, prelude music at 3:45 (don’t miss it!)
