Words Of Hope Card-Writing Party

On Saturday, November 24, Just Detention International (JDI) staff and its supporters will gather to write holiday cards to survivors of sexual abuse behind bars. The card-writing event is part of Words of Hope, JDI’s annual campaign that invites people to provide a bit of compassion to incarcerated survivors, who often feel isolated and forgotten during the holidays.
It takes only a few minutes to write a message to a survivor, but guests are welcome to stay as long as they like. Refreshments will be served.
