The film, The Return will begin at 5:30 pm and the panel discussion will follow. The film won the 2016 Tribeca Audience Award for Best Documentary. This film explores the intricacies of the Reentry process through the eyes of those on the front lines—prisoners suddenly freed, families turned upside down, reentry providers helping navigate complex transitions, and attorneys and judges wrestling with the release of hundreds of men and women as a result of reforms in the state of California’s Three Strike Laws.
