Justice Project Director (Criminal Justice)

We are seeking a movement advocate, and skilled Senior Attorney to lead as the Director and Senior Attorney for our Justice Project Program, which focuses on policing, decriminalization and decarceration through an abolitionist framework. The ideal candidate is a respected, innovative leader in criminal legal systems transformation who has experience working collaboratively with organizers and communications teams to support organizing campaigns, managing a dynamic team, and fundraising. The Director will manage the strategic direction; lead the implementation of strategic initiative; manage team of seven attorneys; work collaboratively with Campaigns and Communications teams; oversee the program budget and support fundraising. This position will report to the Deputy Executive Director. https://advancementproject.bamboohr.com/jobs/view.php?id=64

 

 

Justice Project Deputy Director 

We are seeking a creative problem solver, strong advocate, and skilled Senior Attorney in its Washington D.C. office to serve as the Deputy Director and Senior Staff Attorney for our Justice Project – Policing Program. The Justice Project provides support to grassroots racial justice campaigns seeking not simply to reform, but to wholly dismantle systems that criminalize and incarcerate people of color.  We aim to help impacted communities define the terms and control how peace is realized in their streets and neighborhoods and to re-imagine public safety for themselves. This position will report to the Program Director for Justice Project. https://advancementproject.bamboohr.com/jobs/view.php?id=63
