| The Westmoreland Festival Chorus will present a program of a capella choral works and spoken word on the traumas of incarceration. Themes will include captivity, loss of agency, separation from loved ones, isolation, steadfastness, prayer, desperation, liberation, and redemption – the spoken word will speak directly to these experiences, while the music will provide time for contemplation. It will feature guest soloists from Bridge, whose mission is to “examine the issues of our time by illuminating connections between historic and contemporary music, unifying established audiences with the next generation of concertgoers.”
