States across the country are moving to ensure the right of all citizens to vote, regardless of their criminal history. We will discuss the positive progress being made at the state level and how the Democracy Restoration Act would eliminate this patchwork of rights and create a nationwide standard that facilitates voting rights for returning citizens.
