RSVP for Special Briefing: Behavioral Health and Criminal Justice System Innovations

The National Council for Behavioral Health, with Senators Debbie Stabenow and Roy Blunt, invite you to a lunch briefing to hear from law enforcement officers and behavioral health clinics on an innovative bipartisan initiative that builds treatment capacity in communities while promoting collaboration between the criminal justice and behavioral health delivery systems.
Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) are increasing access to addiction and mental health treatment; addressing the ongoing nationwide shortage of addiction treatment providers; and supporting criminal justice systems in reducing crisis calls, decreasing recidivism, and enabling law enforcement officers to focus more time on their main duty: keeping communities safe.See attached flyer for more information.
