Reparations Is On the Ballot Town Hall
October 28, 2020 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

As we get closer to the 2020 elections, several issues concerning Black life in America continue to emerge in national discussions. One of these critical topics is the issue of reparations. The longstanding movement for reparations due to the Descendants of Africans Enslaved in the United States is powerful, intricate, and layered. Many questions surround the history, strategies, legislation, and legal battles in the fight for reparations. On Thursday, October 29, 2020, at 8 pm EDT/7 pm CT, reparationist lawyers, scholars, and activists will answer the many questions concerning reparations discussions within the Black community.

This online event will be hosted in partnership with the National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations In America and the National Black Cultural Information Trust.
