The National Stepping Up Summit occurs April 18–19 and will be livestreamed from Washington, DC.

Hosted by the the Council of State Governments Justice Center, the summit aims to help county, regional, tribal, or unified state teams develop and advance system-level plans to reduce the number of adults with mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders in their jails. It will provide concrete strategies, resources, workshops, and networking opportunities with national experts and colleagues.
