On January 18^th, NACDL is hosting a death penalty webinar with the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (NCADP) – “Not in My Name: Lift Your Voice to Oppose Executions.” This free webinar will give participants an overview of upcoming executions scheduled in 2018 and learn grassroots strategies around preventing executions. Participants will also receive information on how they can sign-up for execution alerts in their states.

Kristina Roth serves as Amnesty International USA’s Senior Program Officer for Criminal Justice Programs, to oversee AIUSA’s work on abolishing the death penalty and stopping unlawful killings by police. In this role Krissy serves as AIUSA’s expert and public spokesperson on these issues, she is tasked to implement a strategy working with AIUSA grassroots activist, impacted communities, key partners, and elected officials to advance these objectives and make human rights impact. This includes elevating cases of human rights abuses, state based campaigns, and federal legislative and administrative advocacy. Prior to AIUSA, Krissy was the Deputy Director of Domestic Policy at the Jewish Council for Public Affairs focusing on issues including criminal justice reform, civil rights, individual liberties, separation of church and state, and equal opportunity policy. Krissy has worked at other nonprofits like ACLU and National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, and has also served as a Field Organizer on a 2014 VA congressional race.
